In this lesson we learnt a technique that reflected the Elizabethan hair styles. We were shown a technique which created a texture to go over the heart shaped quiffs. We were to get a hair pin and weave the strand of hair in and out which created a plait like look. We then used straighteners to heat the piece of hair so it would stay in place. Once each section cooled, we then pushed out the pin from the top and let the wavy pieces of hair loose. I ran the end of a pin tail comb through each section to separate them all and create wider, more visible waves. I then pinned them over the quiffs making sure none of the hair underneath was visible. I'm quite happy with the outcome. However, unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the final outcome because my phone died but from the bottom picture you can see how the look would have ended up. Next time I will try to make all of the waves go the same way which i think would look more successful.
